The contractor says it has made 'encouraging' progress in both London and the regions
T Clarke has announced that trading had recovered in the second half of 2007. It registered an additional 拢50m projects wins since August, when its turnover had dropped by 拢4m.
During the summer the electrical engineering and contracting firm experienced difficulties with some of its regional businesses. T Clarke said it had addressed the issue by installing a new regional reporting structure and devising plans to install anintegrated IT system across the company.
Chief executive Pat Stanborough said: 鈥淲e are pleased that the Group is making encouraging progress in both our core London business and our regional subsidiaries. We have created a platform of quality businesses with the capability to deliver large complex projects to an extremely high standard.鈥
He is confident that T Clarke will meet market expectations this year as 拢150m of projects are due for completion in 2008.
