Accoya wood, supplied exclusively by International Timber, has been specified for The Haven project in Horning, Norfolk

Created from sustainably-sourced softwood, Accoya undergoes a non-toxic acetylation process that the company says gives it properties that enhance its durability beyond that of the best tropical hardwoods. The house is located on the Norfolk Broads and has been designed to withstand flooding. Accoya was used for the cladding, decking and screening on the project and was selected as it would be unaffected by the damp environment.
