UK-based architect Stubbs Rich has signed a deal with an Indian practice that wants to offer its masterplanning experience to clients on the subcontinent.
Vishwas Kulkarni Architects of Pune, a city to the east of Mumbai, will carry out a joint venture to design a high-rise, mixed-use development in Mumbai for Shreeji Developers.
Stubbs Rich will be involved throughout the development to ensure that European best practice is applied.
John Rich, a director at Stubbs Rich, said the difference in values made it difficult to cite the relative costs involved in the project.
He said: 鈥淭he project consists of 1500 dwellings, high and low density, a college, a medical practice, commercial space, and social and leisure facilities.鈥
