Housebuilder posts broadly flat results after 鈥渢ough鈥� year

Housebuilder Stewart Milne has posted broadly flat results after a 鈥渢ough鈥� year.

Profit at the contractor edged upwards from 拢140,000 to 拢406,000, while turnover fell from 拢250.9m to 拢239.4m.

Chairman and chief executive, Stewart Milne said:  鈥淔or a business of our strength and longevity, coping with recent market conditions has been about sticking to core values and maintaining the quality of product and service that is central to our business. 

鈥淲e are maintaining a strong performance and by continuing to focus on our customers and their needs, we will be well placed to sustain and improve that performance over the coming years.鈥�
