Consultant Stace has brought in a former Lendlease boss to head up its heritage and cultural business.

Peter Chana (pictured) starts this week at the 拢18m turnover multi-disciplinary, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year, after 23 years at Lendlease.

He joins as group director and arrives a few weeks after John Carminati and Stuart Henniker-Smith also swapped Lendlease for project director roles at Stace.

Stace recently completed work as cost manager on the revamp of the Japanese Galleries at the British Museum and Chana鈥檚 portfolio of projects includes work on the V&A, the Science Museum and the Elizabeth Tower at the Palace of Westminster.

Stace partner Glyn Crawley said: 鈥淸The appointments are] a sign of our intent at Stace. Our original successes were built in the culture and heritage sector.鈥

Chana鈥檚 role will be a national one and the position is expected to see him split his time mainly between the firm鈥檚 London and Birmingham offices.
