Health and safety laws and supply chain improvements are boosting business says chairman
Speedy Hire has reported an 18.6% rise in pre-tax profit to 拢36.4m for the year ended 31 March 2007.
Turnover at the equipment hire business rose 31.9% to 拢335.5m over the period, up from 拢254.3m in 2006.
Chairman David Wallis said: 鈥淲e have seen strong performance in all our key metrics and momentum in the business remains strong. Health and safety legislation together with customer requirements for supply chain improvements continue to provide an increased impetus towards the hiring of tools and equipment.鈥�
