Following record 6 month profits, CEO of 鈥榯he nation鈥檚 local builder鈥 promises future growth
The CEO of building company ROK, Garvis Snook, has announced the company鈥檚 intention for future expansion in his company鈥檚 interim results statement.
In its seventh successive year of record results, Rok has posted 拢434m in revenue (+44% on last year) and a pre-tax profit of 拢11.2m (+75%) in the six months to 30 June 2007.
Rok acquired EMB Services in January and SOL Construction in May of this year, and the trend is set to continue. Snook said in his statement: 鈥淲e intend to [expand Rok鈥檚 activities across the UK] through the selective acquisition of businesses that fit the Rok model, that are committed to our local builder strategy and that share our values in recognising high quality service to customers in the market.鈥
Rok鈥檚 Chairman Stephen Pettit added 鈥淭he potential to grow our UK market share with our successful operating model is significant. We are continuing to invest in our capability in order to achieve this and are confident that 2007 will be another year of strong progress.鈥
