Architect PRP has designed a compact 35 m2 modular flat for Notting Hill Housing Trust.

The scheme is designed for first-time buyers who would otherwise be priced out of central London. PRP says the design is inspired by the Smart car, which has a basic chassis with flexible arrangements inside. The compact apartments are less than 70% the size of an average one-bedroom flat.
