Helical Bar appoints firm to construct the last building at the developer鈥檚 office and retail project

Skanska is to build phase two of developer Helical Bar鈥檚 350,000 sq ft The Bower adjacent to London鈥檚 Old Street roundabout, the area of the capital known as 鈥楾ech City鈥�.

The contractor is due to start on the AHMM-designed scheme shortly as demolition works approach completion for the 171,158 sq ft office building called the Tower. It is expected to be ready for tenants in the second quarter of 2018 according to an update from Helical Bar.

The tower is part of a 3.12 acre site that comprises four buildings, of which three are already completed and let.
