Contractor appointed by Hammerson to build latest phase of WestQuay development
Contractor Sir Robert McAlpine has been appointed to build Hammerson鈥檚 拢70m WestQuay extension in Southampton.
The leaisure-led development will include a 10 screen cinema, up to 20 restaurants and a public plaza.
It will sit next to the current WestQuay shopping centre, which Hammerson jointly owns.
Guy Wells, Hammerson鈥檚 development manager, said: 鈥淪ir Robert McAlpine is a welcome addition to the WestQuay Watermark team.
