Contracts are expected to be awarded early next year
Arup, Mott MacDonald, WSP, Arcadis and a joint venture between Jacobs, BuroHappold and Idom have been shortlisted for contracts to design new stations for HS2.
HS2 said the shortlisted bidders had been invited to tender for at least two of the three station packages.
The winning designers will work with HS2 Ltd to develop detailed plans for three brand new stations, at Birmingham Curzon Street, Birmingham Interchange and London鈥檚 Old Oak Common, as well as a major expansion of Euston in London.
HS2 has also revealed the shortlist of bidders for the development partner contract at Euston to redevelop up to 22 ha around Euston Station
The shortlisted bidders are Canary Wharf Group, Euston Regeneration Partnership led by Argent Related, Landsec, Lendlease and Westfield Europe.
Contracts for the station designs and the Euston master development partner role are expected to be awarded early next year.
