Framework will run up to 12 years
Seven teams have made the cut for a £5bn water framework north of the border for Scottish Water.
The deal is being flagged as one of Scotland’s biggest capital investment infrastructure programmes and involves looking after and replacing water pipes, sewer networks, treatment works and other assets.
Winners include Galliford Try, Clancy and Glasgow-based contractor George Leslie.
The period of work spans the next six years with an option to extend by another six years.
The range of work covers repair, refurbishment and replacement works, covering mechanical, electrical, engineering, civil engineering, construction and maintenance services.
