Exhibition by RCA graduate demonstrates how unrecycled waste can be transformed into useful products
Architect and recent RCA graduate Ian Douglas-Jones and designer Ben Rousseau have created a vast architectural seating strata using materials reclaimed by Elvis & Kresse, a firm that works with re-engineering waste to create lifestyle accessories.
Conceived by Arts Co Wasted - the organisation that curates art and design exhibitions - Wasted will be presented in the tunnel connecting the London Underground to The Victoria & Albert Museum and is exhibited as part of .
The project aims to demonstrate how tonnes of traditionally unrecycled waste that end up in landfill can be reclaimed and used to create interesting lifestyle products.
