Architect's practice is renamed ADAM Architecture
Classical architectural practice Robert Adam Architects has been renamed ADAM Architecture.
The latest in a string of practices to rebrand or change names, the ADAM Architecture name has been introduced to give more equal weighting to the design profiles of the five shareholding directors Robert Adam, Nigel Anderson, Paul Hanvey, Hugh Petter and George Saumarez Smith.
Some of the practice's key projects include the 80,000ft² new office building in Piccadilly, London, The Millennium Gate, a 70ft monumental arch in Atlanta in the United States and its involvement in the Poundbury scheme in Dorset for which the practice designed 30 new homes as well as the South West Quadrant – a Regency-inspired design including a number of different building types to provide offices, apartments and detached and terraced houses making up around 200 residential units.
