Consultant appointed on 拢150,000 Coleg Gwent refurbishment scheme
Consultant Rider Levett Bucknall鈥檚 Bristol office has completed four projects for a Welsh college in a move to improve facilities for staff and students.
The firm was appointed by client Coleg Gwent to manage a 拢150,000 capital works programme.
Work included the refurbishment of a biology laboratory and library at its Usk campus as well as an online assessment room and science block staff rooms at the Crosskeys campus.
The contract was part of RLB's appointment on the college鈥檚 framework panel to provide building surveying services.
The work included remodelling of existing space and removal of walls and rooms as well as stripping out and installation of new fixtures and fittings.
The team also managed the installation of suspended ceilings, lighting, decorations and cooling and heating systems.
