A new suite of agreements for architects and consultants is now available to download
RIBA has replaced its Standard Forms of Appointments with the RIBA Agreements 2007 and put them online.
The agreements take into account all the latest statutory and legal changes, including the latest changes to the CDM regulations.
The move to online is designed to offer flexibility and RIBA hopes that clients’ lawyers will be more willing to use a RIBA contract rather than a bespoke one.
Richard Brindley, executive director of Professional Services at RIBA, says RIBA has spent nearly two years consulting with architects, clients, insurers and construction lawyers to draw up a contract that would be fair to all parties.
There are two versions of the agreements for architects and other consultants.
