Scheme involves building close to 800 homes
Quintain has inked its largest deal to date with a 拢227m scheme for Sisk to build nearly 800 more homes at its Wembley Park development.
The work is for two new residential buildings, designed by Haworth Tompkins, and a park at the North-west London site which Quintain has been developing for the past 20 years.
The buildings, currently known as NE02 and NE03, will be the first to be delivered at Wembley Park鈥檚 North East Lands development, the latest quarter of the 85-acre site to be revamped by the developer.
The job has been agreed at a fixed price which Quintain said that 鈥渄uring a period of high inflation and following the impact of covid and Brexit is testament to the exceptional working relationship between the two businesses鈥.
It added: 鈥淭his outcome was achieved through early engagement with the wider contractor framework, cultivating transparency and a fair allocation of risk.鈥
Sisk has been working at the development since 2004 and the latest deal is its largest to date at the development.
Completion of the two buildings, covering 9,600 m in total, is expected in early 2025, with three-quarters of the homes to be Build to Rent alongside over 100 affordable homes of mixed tenure.
The pair have previously worked on several schemes at the site including a Build to Rent development called Canada Gardens, the London Designer Outlet and the makeover of the grade II-listed Wembley Arena.
