PRP Architects has posted an 80% jump in pre-tax profit from 拢246,000 to 拢443,000 for the year ended 30 September 2007.

Turnover at the company, which specialises in private and public sector housing, rose 14% from 拢20.9m to 拢23.9m.

The highest paid director took home a total package of 拢272,339, which was 24% up on the 2006 figure of 拢218,860. The company employed 352 staff over the year and the average salary was 拢47,809.
