Retail fit-out firm records 14th consecutive year of profit to increase profit by 58% to 拢11.8m
Retail fit-out group Styles&Wood has posted a 58% rise in pre-tax profit to 拢11.8m for 2007.
In the 12 months to 31 December its turnover increased 17% from 拢268.6m to 拢315.5m.
Chairman Gerard Quiligotti said: 鈥淭his is our fourteenth year of sustained growth, which reflects a clear focus on maintaining strong long-term relationships with existing customers.鈥
Amid concerns over a weakening fit-out market, it said it hoped to avoid a downturn in 2008.
It said: 鈥淐learly there is a challenging outlook for the retail sector. However the focus for major retailers remains on improving the store environment to enhance the customer experience.鈥
It pointed to a record order book going into 2008 of 拢137m.
