The firm has revealed that it will aim for major 拢20m-plus unitised curtain walling jobs

锘緽ritish cladding specialist Prater is seeking to poach schemes from the sector鈥檚 big players as it moves to target the London skyscraper market.

The firm has revealed that it will aim for major 拢20m-plus unitised curtain walling jobs, pitting it against a small group of global cladding giants, including Lindner and Gartner, who currently dominate the market.

Gavin Hamblett, pre-construction director at Prater, said that the company plans to make a multimillion-pound investment to boost its manufacturing capability in the next two to five years.

However, Hamblett stressed that in order to do so it would need to have potential clients lined up.

鈥淲e are ready to make the investment, but we need a contractor to support us,鈥 he said.
