Associated Architects submits plans for 10,000 m² project
Associated Architects has submitted plans for a £40m laboratory complex at the University of Leeds.
The 10,000m² University Innovation and Enterprise Centre (UIEC) project will house start-up firms linking university academics to the private sector, with the aim of creating 500 jobs over its first five years.
The seven-storey building will include a mix of laboratories, offices, university staff space, atrium, lecture theatres and a café accessible to the public. It is designed to EPC A and BREEAM Excellent standards.
The Birmingham-based practice will work on the project alongside Ramboll, Curtins and AA Projects.
