Final hurdle completed for £380m acquisition of US consultant by Balfour Beatty, as vote secures 99% support
Balfour Beatty yesterday announced that the planned £380m acquisition of US consultancy Parsons Brinckerhoff had been approved by the firm’s shareholders.
The vote, which was secured with 99% support from Parsons Brinkerhoff shareholders, was the last significant hurdle for the acquisition, which was approved by Balfour Beatty earlier this month.
Balfour said the acquisition, which is being driven through by former BAA man Andrew Wolstenholme, would now complete by the end of the month.
