The move is the beginning of Osprey's plans to expand its area of operations to continental Europe.
It also signals an expansion of the range of services offered. Martin Weallans, Osprey's managing director, said: "We are broadening our profile in the commercial property and public sector markets." The new firm will incorporate PMI's Warsaw office, but not PMI's management team in Paris, which focuses on construction management.
Osprey's recent contracts include the Darwin Project Centre for the Natural History Museum, plus work for Railtrack and the London Stock Exchange. PMI has provided consultancy services to the Scottish Parliament, Tower 42 fit-outs, and Barclay Festival Waterfront Portsmouth.
The combined business will be called Osprey PMI.
