Six-month pre-tax profits 拢2.4m and turnover 拢86.5m at North Midland Construction
North Midland Construction saw pre-tax profits rise 36% to 拢2.4m for the first six months while turnover grew 26.3% to 拢86.5m over last year鈥檚 interims.
Chairman, Robert Moyle said: 鈥淎ll the constituent elements of the Group are trading profitably with both North Midland 好色先生TV and Nomenca, the mechanical and electrical subsidiary, producing record half-yearly results both in respect of revenue and profitability.鈥�
He added: 鈥淲hilst civil engineering and utilities suffered from a slow uptake in revenue, the highways division delivered a solid return.鈥�
The figures give the construction company a margin of 2.8%.
