British Land鈥檚 offices head makes switch to Sheffield firm
Sheffield property developer and contractor Henry Boot has appointed British Land鈥檚 head of offices to become its new chief executive.
Tim Roberts, a former board member at the Broadgate developer, takes over from John Sutcliffe next January before leaving Boot鈥檚 board next May following the firm鈥檚 AGM.
Roberts (pictured), who is originally from Sheffield, has spent 15 years at British Land and worked on developing its Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners-designed Leadenhall building in the City along with the 5 Broadgate scheme, which was designed by Make and built by Mace.
Sutcliffe goes after 13 years at the firm which last year posted turnover down 3% to 拢397m and pre-tax profit 12% lower at 拢48.6m.
