Rider Hunt chair Michael Sullivan replaces Michael Byng at the RICS

Michael Sullivan has been appointed the new chair of the QS and construction faculty at the RICS, replacing Michael Byng.

Stuart Earl will work alongside him as vice chair.

Sullivan has been a member of the faculty's board for the past eight years. He has been vice chair for the last three years.

Sullivan qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1985 and is currently chair of the Rider Hunt Group.

Earl has been a board member since 2004 and has previously sat on the Matrics Board as well as being a member of the London regional board. He is a partner at Gleeds, having qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1995.
