Top 15 QS MDA is beefing up its management ahead of the launch a new company strategy early next year.
The firm, which employs 200 in the UK, is advertising for a managing director, and made six promotions to its board of directors.

The management shake-up is the first move by Elaine Headlam, the chief executive of MDA, who joined the firm last month.

Headlam's appointment coincided with MDA's acquisition of Headlam's branding and design firm X-BBE Consulting. It is believed that Headlam wants to give MDA a wider remit.

The firm advertised for a managing director in last week's Sunday Times and today in ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV. The post, which is a new role at the firm, comes with a package worth more than £100,000. Headlam said the job was attractive: "The firm has a lot of loyal people, has turned a corner and is poised for future growth."

She added that the successful candidate would have direct experience of the property and construction markets. "There are enough good brains outside construction and property to make this a really good consultant. We need someone from the sector to make the team complete," she said.

Headlam briefed senior managers on the firm's strategy on Wednesday. She said it would be officially launched in February.
