Wembley developer appoints executive chairman to its UK operations and chief operating officer responsible for all regions outside the UK.
Property developer Multiplex has rallied extra troops to make sure it has enough people power to undertake its major projects in the UK.
The company today appointed a new executive chairman to its UK operations, James Tuckey, from major UK property company MEPC.
Multiplex said the strengthening of its senior ranks was a key part of being "appropriately resourced" in the UK.
The group said Mr Tuckey, who has been a non-executive director with the company since last September, would assist in developing its operations in the country.
Multiplex chief executive Andrew Roberts said the appointment underscored the company's commitment to operating successfully in the UK.
The company is now addressing issues of board composition as Mr Tuckey's appointment means the board no longer meets the ASX best practice guideline.
Also today, Multiplex appointed a new chief operating officer responsible for all regions outside the UK.
Ross McDiven currently has overall responsibility for the property development business at Multiplex.
