- An environmental audit by the Plant Positive Foundation has found that manufacturer Hambleside Danelaw recorded a carbon footprint of 264 tCO2e in 2010, which it claims is 78% lower than the corresponding figure for 2005 and 70% lower than five years ago. Hambleside Danelaw manufactures glass reinforced polyester roofing products at its two factories in Daventry and Inverness.

- Glidevale, a leading supplier of roof ventilation systems, has recently published a white paper addressing the risk of damaging condensation in the roofspace, caused by extreme cold. It examines the trend towards the use of internally installed roof underlay lap ventilators, and advises specifiers to check compliance with ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV Regulations regarding roofspace ventilation requirements.
