- Tembé Filltite Wood Filler range packaging has redesigned and rebranded. The company says that the filler, which can be used in flooring, is now in a brighter and clearer tin to help set it apart from the competition. Filltite Wood Filler is available in natural, white and dark brown colours and comes in the following sizes: 250gm, 500gm, 1 kg, 2.1kg and 3.7kg.
- Resin floor specialist Flowcrete has created a video to explain and showcase its flooring system, the GREEN Floorzone. It is available to view on its website . The video shows a large-scale model of the different components of the system, from substrate through to final floor finish, along with the option of underfloor heating and sound-proofing built-in.
- JCP Construction Products has launched a product guide. The 52-page catalogue showcases over 150 products for a range of different uses including anchors, fixings and drill bits, along with a number of dedicated new products. These include the new DF90 Wood Nailer to complement the Drivefast range of gas and nail products - an aerated concrete plug. Bigtwist panel fixing is now also available, which is suitable for securing composite panels and plywood sheets to timber joists.
- The Mineral Products Association has announced figures for the first quarter of 2012 which indicate a substantial reduction in sales of aggregates, ready mixed concrete and asphalt. Compared with the same period last year, sales volumes of crushed rock and sand and gravel aggregates declined by 13% and 12% respectively in the first three months of 2012 and sales volumes of ready-mixed concrete and asphalt fell by 9% and 17%.
