Contractor hails major wins with Sellafield, Heathrow and London Underground
Morgan Sindall’s infrastructure business has won a hat-trick of contracts worth a combined £750m.
The trio of wins includes a five-year contract extension on the firm’s Infrastructure Strategic Alliance with nuclear power plant Sellafield (pictured).
Morgan Sindall has also been awarded an extension to its upgrade works at Heathrow Airport taking it to 2020. The contract was initially awarded in 2014 to deliver a £3bn programme of upgrades alongside four partners.
The two contract extensions come after the firm was appointed to London Underground’s £350m ‘Future Stations’ civils and tunnelling works framework. The eight-year framework commences immediately.
John Morgan, chief executive of Morgan Sindall, said: “Morgan Sindall Group has a strong track record in complex infrastructure projects and we see further growth opportunities in this area.
“We are delighted to be involved in delivering these exciting schemes and the awards evidence the good momentum we are seeing across our business. “
