Morgan Est has formed a joint venture with Vinci Construction to build the £90m Upper Forth Bridge.
Construction group Morgan Sindall has won the £90m contract to build the Upper Forth Bridge in Kincardine, Scotland.
Morgan Sindall's Infrastructure Services division, Morgan Est, formed a joint venture with Vinci Construction Grands Projets for the job.
The pair have jointly been awarded the contract to design and build the new A876 Upper Forth Crossing at Kincardine in Fife for Transport Scotland.
The project is for a new 1.2km bridge spanning the Forth Estuary together with 6.4km of approach road and associated works.
The programme of works is set to begin in June 2006 with completion expected in late 2008.
Paul Smith, chief executive of Morgan Sindall said: "This is another significant contract secured by Morgan Est and demonstrates our abilities in the transport sector."
