String of major wins boost support services firm

Support services firm Mitie has overtaken the 拢2bn revenue mark, as profit also edged up for the year ended 31 March 2012.

A string of major wins 鈥 including a five-year facilities management deal with Lloyds Banking Group worth 拢775m 鈥 boosted turnover to 拢2,002m from 拢1,891m the previous year.

Pre-tax profit also rose to 拢94.5m from 拢86.8m.
