Scheme to finish in middle of 2020
McLaren has been chosen by Leicester City Football Club to build its new £120m training centre at a former golf and fishing centre.
The main building at Charnwood will be surrounded by 11 full-size outdoor pitches, eight smaller pitches, five training grids and two goalkeeping areas.
Indoor facilities will include 35 bedrooms, a hydrotherapy pool, rehabilitation facilities, a dining area and a media centre.
And the development for the Premier League side also includes a full-size indoor artificial pitch, as well as a mini-venue show pitch so under-23s and under-18s can experience a match environment.
McLaren is joined on the job for the Foxes by project manager Arcadis, QS Turner & Townsend, structural engineer TRP Consulting and architect KSS.
The scheme will also include creating 17 new ponds and planting 38,000 new trees.
Work is due to finish by the middle of next year.
