Second tallest building in Manchester will provide accommodation for 520 students
A 33-storey residential tower for students has been given the green light in Manchester.
The £45m development in Great Marlborough Street will be the second tallest development in the city after the Beetham Tower.
Designed by Hodder + Partners and developed and operated by Student Castle, the tower is scheduled for completion in 2012.
The project team includes Canmoor Projects, Shepherd Construction, Edmund Kirby, WSP and Brentwood Design Group.
