Victim pronounced dead at scene after building collapses

A man in his fifties died on Saturday after a bungalow collapsed during renovation work.

Emergency services were called to the building in Hillingdon, West London, where fire crews recovered the man but pronounced him dead at the scene. Another man was treated for shock.

A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
