Scheme in north-west London is part of wider Brent Cross South development
Mace has been chosen to project manage work to build a new railway station in north-west London.
The firm is working on the Brent Cross West Thameslink station scheme which includes relocating existing rail operations and offices, realigning existing track and sidings as well as building a new five-platform railway station.
Main contractor on the £40m scheme (pictured) for Barnet council and Network Rail is VolkerFitzpatrick.
The firm started this spring with work scheduled for completion by the end of 2022.
The project is part of wider regeneration plans for the Brent Cross area which includes the £4.5bn Brent Cross South scheme, being developed by Argent Related. It will include 6,700 homes along with new office and retail space.
