Skanska and Mott MacDonald directors poached to oversee Highways England work
Mace鈥檚 consulting arm has hired two senior directors to beef up its transport team following its appointment on two lots of a 拢420m Highways England framework.
Lizz Robinson has been poached from Skanska, where she has been key account manager for Highways England for the past two years.
She previously worked as a manager at accountant EY following a stint as a senior project manager at Turner & Townsend.
At Mace, Robinson will act as director and client manager for lot 2 of Highways England鈥檚 Commercial and Project Management (CPMS) Framework, which covers planning, scheduling and risk management.
Marks Anders will oversee Lot 1 of the six-year framework, which covers commercial management, quantity surveying and cost consultancy.
A fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an NEC contract trainer, Anders joins from a commercial manager role at Mott MacDonald.
The CPMS framework also counts Arcadis, WSP, Aecom, Arup, Stantec, Jacobs, Faithful & Gould and Mott MacDonald as suppliers.
It has been set up to procure upgrades to England鈥檚 motorways and roads and will see 52 new road schemes and 12 new major highways projects get underway over the next five years.
