US designer Peter Marino will have a 拢200m budget to play with on Peninsula Hotel fit-out
Luxury architect Peter Marino is being lined up to design lavish interiors for the new 拢500m Peninsula Hotel on London鈥檚 Hyde Park Corner, 好色先生TV can reveal.
Marino (pictured) - known in his native US as the 鈥淟eather Daddy of Luxury鈥 for his biker style - will be given a 拢200m budget to play with for the fit-out, according to one source close to the project.
Another well-placed source said client Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels (HSH) 鈥渃an spend as much as they want鈥 they won鈥檛 compromise鈥.
Sir Robert McAlpine is advising on construction of the Hopkins-designed 190-room hotel.
HSH declined to comment.
