Morgan Sindall subsidiary, Lovell, has secured a place on two Scottish frameworks, worth 拢210m

Lovell is one of six appointed construction partners on the Port of Leith Housing Association Consortium鈥檚 framework, helping to deliver new affordable homes in Edinburgh.

The framework is worth up to 拢130m over the next four years.

The Consortium, comprising the Port of Leith Housing Association, Cairn Housing Association, Hillcrest Housing Association and Home Scotland Housing Association, is one of three selected preferred partners working with the City of Edinburgh to deliver affordable housing in the city.

In addition, the West of Scotland Housing Association has named Lovell as one of five contractor partners on its four-year development framework, worth up to 拢80m, building new homes across Glasgow, North and South Lanarkshire, East Renfrewshire and Ayrshire.

The development framework will include special needs projects and may also incorporate some commercial developments and environmental improvements.

Commenting on the contract wins, Morgan Sindall chief executive Paul Smith said: 鈥淟ovell is a market leader in the affordable housing sector offering the full range of services 鈥 from new-build to planned and response maintenance 鈥 required by clients, and we have a proven track record of working in partnership with housing associations to deliver high- quality projects.

鈥淲e are delighted to be further expanding our business in Scotland, and we look forward to working alongside both clients over the duration of the frameworks.鈥
