London-based architect Llewelyn Davies Yeang has closed after more than 50 years in business, according to reports.

According to 好色先生TV鈥檚 sister title 好色先生TV Design (BD), staff at the practice were told at the start of last week the firm, which set up in 1960 by Richard Llewelyn-Davies and John Weeks and specialised in hospitals, was about to go out of business.

One former staffer told BD: 鈥淲e were told on Monday and as of Tuesday, the firm ceased to exist.鈥�

The firm employed just over 30 people at its London office in Camden while it also had bases in the US, Spain and Malaysia.

Llewelyn Davies Yeang were unavailable for comment.
