Chelsfield Partners and Sir Stuart Lipton's former employer Stanhope are among 13 bidding for 拢120m Barbican scheme.

Sir Stuart Lipton's new property development set-up, Chelsfield Partners, is up against his former employer Stanhope for a second project.

The two are to compete for a 拢120m plan to redevelop a former morgue and fire station at the Barbican in the City of London. It will become a 30-storey residential tower and a new school for Guildhall.

It is the second project where Chelsfield Partners, run by Elliott Bernerd and Lipton, is facing Stanhope. Both are among 13 bidders for a massive 15-acre redevelopment at Euston.
