Lend Lease has beaten Mace to win a prestigious 拢35m contract to redevelop the National Theatre on London鈥檚 South Bank

The National Theatre Future project, masterplanned by architect Haworth Tompkins, will open up Denys Lasdun鈥檚 iconic building through a series of interventions.

These include building a production centre with design studios, workspaces for artists and theatre crafts (pictured), a new entrance pavilion and refurbishing existing spaces such as the Cottesloe Theatre, which will be renamed the Dorfman Theatre.
