Firm's affordable housing arm has named new operations and development bosses
Legal & General has moved to bolster the leadership team of its affordable housing arm with a pair of senior appointments.
The firm, which launched its affordable housing business in April, has named Michael Dempsey as director of development and investment and Shaun Holdcroft (pictured) as director of operations at the business which is called Legal & General Affordable Homes.
Dempsey has joined from Wellbury Projects, a development consultancy he established.
Before this he was regional managing director at Keepmoat Homes Southern, responsible for launching the Doncaster-based firm's south of England arm.
Holdcroft has joined L&G from Hertfordshire-based social housing provider Settle. As executive director, he was in charge of leadership of the business and strategic planning, looking after 200 staff and around £50m of revenue.
His CV also includes spells working for London housing association Hyde Housing and heading up Southwark council's housing department.
Legal & General wants its affordable homes business to be building 3,000 homes a year by 2022.
