This week Hyco Manufacturing, Lovell, James Donaldson & Sons and Queen’s Counsel all have new appointments

Hyco Manufacturing has recruited Philip Walton as new product development engineer to expand its range of water and space heaters. Walton is a Hull university graduate and a former engineering apprentice at BAE Systems.  

Contractors

ºÃÉ«ÏÈÉúTV firm Lovell has appointed Justine Elliot national sales manager. Elliot was previously sales and marketing director for CrosbyLend Lease and has also held senior roles with Earthquake UK and Crosby Homes.

Specialists

Scott Cairns will be taking over as managing director of James Donaldson & Sons, the Fife-based timber specialist, in April 2011. Neil Donaldson, managing director of the company for the past 25 years, will now assume the role of executive chairman.

Consultants

Fiona Parkin has been appointed to Queen’s Counsel in the 2011 list. Parkin is a barrister and specialist in construction and energy law at Akin Chambers. The ceremony will take place at the Palace of Westminster on 7 April.
