GVA, Rex Procter & Partners, Leadbitter, Bouygues Construction and Doyle Group have all made new appointments

Norman Wright has been appointed senior surveyor for the building consultancy team at GVA’s Birmingham office. Wright has over 25 years experience in surveying, having been a director with Lambert Smith Hampton and BNP Paribas Real Estate.

Iain Stevenson will take over as director in charge of Rex Procter & Partners’ London office. Stevenson joins after six years as a director with Currie & Brown.

Contractors

Leadbitter has recruited Charlie Scherer as regional director with its South-west housing division. Scherer will be supported by Alan Vaux, who has been appointed construction manager, and David Pengelly, technical and commercial manager.

Bouygues Construction has appointed Olivier-Marie Racine as deputy chief executive officer. Racine will head up Bouygues Bâtiment International and the specialist civil works division. He was previously managing director with Bouygues UK.

Stef Stefanou, chairman of Doyle Group, is to be conferred with a fellowship award from the Guilds of London Institute and Councils of the City, for an outstanding contribution to construction and engineering.
