拢2m building by architect dRMM is clad in gold-coloured shingles

A landmark 拢2m registry office on Blackpool seafront by dRMM Architects has opened. Festival House is clad in gold-coloured stainless steel shingles and offers newlyweds panoramic views of Blackpool Tower and the sea. The pavilion, built by Parkinson Contractors, is located on the 鈥楶eople鈥檚 Promenade鈥� and is part of Blackpool council鈥檚 拢250m revamp of the resort. dRMM is one of several practices that designed plots on the athletes鈥� village at the London 2012 Olympic Park.
