Steve Coleby poached for top job at Lovell
Morgan Sindall has raided Laing O鈥橰ourke again for the top job at its housing arm nabbing O鈥橰ourke veteran Steve Coleby to head up its Lovell housing business.
Coleby (pictured) joins in April as the managing director of the business, replacing former Capita boss Jonathan Goring who joined in June 2016 after just six months at Laing O鈥橰ourke.
Goring was promoted last November to a new role to develop Morgan Sindall鈥檚 pipeline of housing, regeneration and construction work it carries out in partnership with local authorities, central government and housing associations.
Goring was succeeded on an interim basis by Morgan Sindall鈥檚 commercial director Andy Saul.
Coleby has been at Laing O鈥橰ourke for close to 25 years and was most recently the leader of the firm鈥檚 UK construction business before becoming its commercial director for Europe and the Middle East.
He was appointed a director of the firm鈥檚 plc business back in 2015 but he stepped down last summer 鈥 although the firm said he was remaining at the company.
Morgan Sindall chief executive John Morgan said: 鈥淪teve will bring with him some fantastic experience including his knowledge in both building and infrastructure.鈥
