Contractor begins work on cutting-edge design centre in Warwickshire
Laing O鈥橰ourke has begun construction on a 拢200m new design centre for Jaguar Land Rover in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
The Bennetts Associates-designed scheme will become a cutting-edge engineering and design research facility for the car manufacturer.
Chris Elliott, property programmes director for Jaguar Land Rover, said: 鈥淭he new design and engineering centre is a testament both to Jaguar Land Rover鈥檚 British heritage of innovation and its compelling vision for future vehicle technology.
鈥淭he new space will centralise our design, product engineering and purchasing functions in an original and modern environment, as well as creating additional capacity for the future.鈥
Jaguar Land Rover is the UK鈥檚 largest car manufacturer and employs more than 40,000 people.
