Laing O鈥橰ourke has appointed Peter Williams as technical director for Europe.

Williams, who joins from Aecom, will take the lead for technical function across the Europe Hub, focussing on project and digital engineering, design management and quality.

Williams has more than 30 years鈥� experience in project design and delivery and at Aecom led the firms鈥� building engineering across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Laing O鈥橰ourke鈥檚 group technical director Paul Westbury said: 鈥淚 am delighted that Peter is joining us. He is a highly accomplished and respected engineer with a wealth of experience in leading project design and delivery, across many market sectors, from the very earliest engagement with clients, through to on-site delivery and onward operations.
